About bringing up that pic of Elec Man as a girl, I just wanted to apologize for making such a post. I guess I didn’t know how you guys would react and I thought you guys would think it’d probably be a bit funny…

Blackout Breakout (Saving Time Plot)
There wasn’t another second to waste. Once the group would arrive at the Fortress, Elec knew his job and he knew it well. Sure, he wasn’t even sure if he’d be able to cause a blackout, but it was worth a shot. However, he needed the others in strategic positions, and would have to remember the plans of the electrical system.
He himself would make his way toward the main circuit breaker of the fortress. It may have gone against his usual job, but damn it, it was time to break some circuits and cause a blackout. For now, however, he would wait. He needed to wait for the strategic wires to be clipped so he could overload the system and cause a massive blackout.
Then, and only then, would the breakout begin.
So while Elec Man heads to the main circuit breaker, Tornado Man sneaks to his strategic position to clip a wire or two. That sounds easy enough. But they’re running out of time so they’d better do it quick. He decided to use his own sharp rotors to cut wires. No need for him to carry around a tool. He established commlinks with everyone before proceeding further.
“Hey, Big Bro Elecky? I’m almost where I should be. Can you tell me again which wire I have to cut? Not that I forgot but I wanna be sure. There’s no room for errors, right?”
Time sat in a well-lit corner of the room he had claimed as his own, bent over a personal project of his. The Wily-bots kept saying that the Light-bots were coming. Was it that they didn’t want Wily getting his hands on any of Light’s precious toys? That was the only reason he could think of for why they would come. But he still found it very unlikely that it would happen. If they didn’t want Wily to have him, they would have come right away, right? Right.
His head was suddenly filled with a robotic voice, signaling the start of a new hour. While he didn’t care for Light at all, Time did miss all the clocks he had in his room. Listening to time pass while he worked, all the ringing at the start of every hour. He carefully placed his work into a small wooden box, and tucked the box inside himself before closing his clock. He moved into his fort, which had gotten quite large since there were so many books he wasn’t tall enough to put away. It had a light source and a few pillows, which was just what he needed for a nice reading session.
Fire was in position as well, near the circuit breaker along with Elec. He needed to be there, not only to help Elec fry the living hell out of this thing, but to be his support. Elec couldn’t have possibly fully recovered from his breakdown earlier, and he’d promised he’d be right there with him. There was no way he was going to abandon his twin in his time of need.
“Just a li’l longer…”
Soon they’d have Ice, Quint, and Time back. Everything would be back to normal again, and they wouldn’t have to think back to this stressful time. It’d all be over soon.

Mission started (@Lightbots from Saving time)
Hornet nodded as Star laid out the new plan. He’d gotten a letter from Wily? How? He hoped that Wily, if he knew Star was with the Lights, wasn’t laying a trap for them to wander right into. But for now, it was the best they could do with what little time they had left to do it. Well, that was if they still had time. “I-If you think you could distract him long enough, a-and granted they’re somewhere expected l-like the main l-lab or s-something… and with E-Elec causing a blackout, we might be able to at least find them quickly.”
And there was a problem. Elec was still huddled up in Fire’s arms. Hornet wasn’t sure if he’d pull himself together anytime soon. He his fingers nervously against his mask, and then quietly eeked out, “E-Elec… big brother.” He walked a little closer. “I-I… I know how awful this is. I know you m-must be under s-so much stress. B-But we need you to p-pull yourself together.” The words came out with shaky concern over how well they’d be received or heard. “We n-need you to. That blackout will give u-us m-more time to s-save our b-brothers and Quint, and we need to do that soon.”
He broke off when he heard the familiar sound of his brother flying up and landing. He brightened, both out of happiness of seeing his brother a relief that now they had two more on their side. “T-Tornado! Thank maker, w-we… uhm, could use your help. I don’t know where everyone else is.” He shook his head and frowned. “Th-this is Crystal Man. And uhm, S-Star Man’s been staying with us, of course. He thinks he might b-be able to distract Dr. Wily while we go in for Time, Ice, and Quint.”
“I recieved the mail yesterday and it was just directed to me. He didn’t tell anything about Time or Quint or Ice. He just wanted me to come back to the fortress and… There were so many other things I had to think about”
He looked to Elec. He didn’t seem to calm down enough, but the time was running out. He went closer to him and said: “I know that you have enough energy to do this. I know that it is hard because everyone of us is in the same boat. You don’t have to do this alone. Hornet and Fire will be with you and that blackout will create a real chance for us. You’re working with electricity every day, don’t you? You have enough experience to do this.”
As he stopped talking, tornadoman appeared and asked him.“You will go into the Fortress and try to cause a Blackout. I showed a map to the others so they can go into it carefully. I’ll try to get Dr. Wily’s attention, so he won’t recognize you.”
The time ran. They really had to go soon.
“…I…help…help me up…Okay?” Elec suddenly murmured. ”…Th-thanks…for reassuring me…for reassuring me that…that I’m right to be upset with all of this going on…” He moved to get in position for Fire to help him up. And he knew that this breakdown couldn’t last too long. Otherwise it really would be his fault that bad things had happened. Besides. Hornet was right. He had to pull himself together, if even a little. ”…W-we probably n-need to…to get going soon. Or else it’ll be my fault…that things are going wrong…”
He swallowed hard. Create a blackout? He’d never actually created a blackout. He was normally in charge of just the opposite—fixing them. Wait. That was it. The opposite. ”…Y-you guys…I…I should confess one thing. I’ve never actually…caused a blackout. I’m…usually the one fixing them.” Here he gave an awkward, shaky laugh. ”S-Star, I’ll need to know the power grid to know what I can do…to mess it up. A-alright? It’d help me…and…and I think…I think I can trust you to tell me right as long as you’re finally being forthright.”
He then looked to his siblings and Star once more. ”…I’ll just need to know what wiring to damage…and where the main circuitbox is for the fortress. Once I know what wiring to damage…I’m gonna need help to station people at strategic positions to help me destroy the wiring. And…I’ll short out the circuitbox personally.”
“I can see that. So what’s the plan?”
Hm. Apparently they need to cause a blackout at Wily’s fortress while Star Man tries to distract him.
“… You can count on me, Big Bro Elec. I’m game. Let’s go~!”
Tornado Man ran but barely got ten steps ahead when he stopped in his tracks and turned to face the group.
“Eh… Where’s the fortress?”
Crystal Man shook his head and stood straight, pretending no one insulted him as he listened to everyone carefully. “Star? Shall I accompany you to Dr. Wily or stay with everyone and help cause a blackout?”
Elec Man never created a blackout before? But… what choice do they have but try and hope it doesn’t fail. “I-it will be fine. We can succeed if we work together. I-I have faith in you. And I will help however I can.”
Crystal Man let out a small sigh at Tornado Man. Really. “… We will lead or give directions to Skull Fortress. Please do not try to run on your own.”
“Alrigh’ Elec. Up we get.” Waiting for Elec to move a little, Fire got up, helping his twin up in the process, yet still keeping his hold on him. He smiled at Elec, nuzzling him a little. “Don’t worry ‘bout it Elec. I’ll always be there fer ya when ya need me. We’re gonna d’ this together, alrigh’?” Dang it, why did Elec think this was all his fault? Fire was sure it had been his, not Elec’s. He was the one that failed to save Ice and Quint.. and failed to stop Time..
Seemed the plan was set, and Elec was going to have to take out the power. “Elec.. I know ya can d’ it. I’ll be righ’ there beside ya.”
But enough waiting.. They couldn’t keep wasting time. “Alrigh’.. We can talk more on the way. We need t’ get headin’ out.”
